CHANGING FACES
TOYS R’NT US
4 in 10 people with a visible difference say their appearance affected how well they did at school, facing challenges like bullying, anxiety, and a lack of concentration. Between the ages of 3 and 5, children begin forming complex social categories and can develop biases based on gender, race, and other visible characteristics. So, to challenge these perceptions before they form, we created a rare, special-edition toy range featuring scars, marks, and visible conditions, normalising difference from an early age.
We’ll also ‘unbox bias’ with toy influencers on TikTok and Instagram to educate viewers on these rare visible differences.
